Nancy and I had the best day today. First, awesome lunch at Comida in the Prospect neighborhood of Longmont.  It was easily one of the best lunches I’ve ever had.  If I didn’t have a pig/goat/chickens, I’d want to live in Prospect so I could walk to Comida every day.

After lunch we browsed in three locally-owned shops and found the best cool and funky things.  All the shop owners were friendly and welcoming and, well, happy. Purchases were made.  I cannot say enough about the pleasures of shopping locally!

Nancy needed some makeup.  We went to the beauty supply store, Ulta.

I needed pig food.  We went to the feed and ranch shop, Murdoch’s.

The fact that we could shop for both pig food and makeup in one afternoon made me really happy she’s my friend.

The day made me smile a lot.

Then I got home and had some Internet time and discovered that 26 million people had watched this video.

More smiles.  Lots more smiles.

I absolutely loved our field trip too. Kicking myself I didn’t snap a photo of you modeling that rhinestone cowgirl belt!
