Father’s Day Gift Ideas from Uncommon Goods

Dopp Kit from Uncommon Goods

Love this upcycled Dopp Kit made from old tents. $38 at Uncommon Goods.

One of our favorite “go to” websites for gift giving is Uncommon Goods. Their offerings are fun, eclectic and in our humble opinion, just the right things. Here are some of our picks for Father’s Day 2012:

Many years ago my beer “snob” brothers did a blind tasting, claiming they could tell the difference between the less expensive Coors, and the higher priced Michelob and Heineken. To much laughter it turned out no one  identified any beer correctly and they all declared Coors the favorite. Challenge the beer “connoisseur” at your house with the beer tasting tool kit and see if dad really knows his beers.

I have tried unsuccessfully to talk my husband into replacing his massive tri-fold wallet (that has etched a rectangular shape into the back pants pocket of his dress pants and jeans,) into a sleeker bifold. I hope you can convince your guy to be a bit more fashion forward with this sleek slimfold wallet.

This Deep Sea Sand Art ($85) is mesmerizing.

Make the dad in your life the king of the grill with the Salts of the World Test Tube ($35) set. It’s amazing how different salt can taste.

Cycling dad will love this set of drinking glasses. Perfect for hosting Tour de France viewing parties this July.

You can see the full selection of Father’s Day gift ideas from Uncommon Goods here. I bet you find something good!
