I love making lists. I am a master list maker. There is something about writing down the needed groceries, errands and phone calls for each day that somehow aligns my thoughts and allows me to at least start the morning feeling organized.
Over the years, I’ve used various notebooks and pads to put my lists on – some specialized, but often a plain old lined pad did the job. So, so boring. The following websites have a lot to offer if you, like me, want a to-do list that reflects your personality:
These sites have all kinds of great notepads and sticky notes that make lists FUN! Some spice up your utilitarian, every day lists, some are specialized (for packing or grocery shopping – even a honey do list!) and some are perfect for a silly gift. My favorite category is on the KnockKnock site – “Gifts for Annoying People”. Awesome!
Speaking of gifts, my current everyday pad is a To Do pad from KnockKnock that Don gave me as a Christmas gift last year. It took me a while to start using it, maybe because I was so thrown by the title of one of the four squares – “Correspondence.” Really? A whole ten lines devoted to letters I need to write? I haven’t written a letter this century, so it seemed, well, just wrong. Do other people write that many more letters that I do? (If they do, they certainly aren’t sending any to me!) So I cross out “Correspondence, write in “Calls To Make” and get on with my list-making for the day. Love it!
