Laughing is always just the right thing. A few days ago my family and I were crowded around the computer screen watching a variety of video clips. Here I’m sharing some of my favorites of the year with you.
Manicure humor. In this clip stand-up commedianne, Anjelah Johnson, does a hilarious routine about the nail salon experience. If it scares you off from going to have your nails done you can read our great post on doing it yourself.
Oprah’s Flash Mob Surprise. One of the most amazing collaborations ever, even if you’ve already seen this, it’s worth watching again. I saw an interview with a man who was one of the 22,000 dancers. He said that participating in that event was to feel “joy rising.” Who doesn’t want to feel that?
Ellen DeGeneres Reflects on the Snuggie. I almost ripped the stitches out of my surgical incision watching this.
Taylor Swift Hosts Saturday Night Live. I’m not a huge country-western music fan but this young woman is talented, funny and incredibly poised. She composed a song for her opening monlogue on SNL that shows her great sense of humor.
Ellen DeGeneres Interviews Dakota Fanning. This is another Ellen interview my daughter, Megan, showed me. The interview is a couple years old but it’s hilarious and captures the personality of this young actress – currently playing one of the bad vampires in the Twilight films. (Were any of our pre-teens that excited about braces?)
